About Beth Gitlin, President

Beth Gitlin is President/Owner of Global Passages LLC. Ms. Gitlin has over 15 years experience in retailing, manufacturing and importing/exporting consumer goods. Prior to owning Global Passages, she was VP of Imports and Product Development for a manufacturer and importer/exporter of Christmas trees, wreaths, outdoor lighting, swimming pools/pumps and water gardening products. Additionally, she served 9 years with a mass retailer in various Merchandising and International positions with responsibilities involving trade with over 26 different countries. Previously, she served 4 years as a Lieutenant in the US Army.

In the social entrepreneurial spirit, her company's additional mission is to assist and train small to medium sized women-owned businesses in developing countries in areas of import/export and small business startup procedures. As a volunteer, she is actively involved with the Women's Business Center at Florida Institute of Technology, Women for Women International and Rotary International.

In the educational spirit, Beth is an adjunct professor at Florida Institute of Technology for the MBA program. She has earned an MBA and an MA in Asian Studies. And, she is working on achieving her Ph.D in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
